Our Mascot "Chocolate"

Adventures with Chocolate

Recently, my 'Dad' had to take a trip to Tennessee for a few days one week. So, we all went along. It was new for me, and I had a LOT of fun!

Back

This was our ride. Not ME ... the CAR! I got to sit in the back. They set me on a pillow so I could see out the window. There was a lot to see.

I've never been to a hotel before! I was trying to find something to watch on TV. There wasn't much on.

Everyone was working, so I amused myself by looking out of the window. People-watching can be a fascinating hobby. You'd be surprised the things that go on in a parking lot.

'Mom' was getting tired so I thought I'd make her some coffee. It looked easier than it was. Apparently, you are supposed to take the coffee out of the packet. 'Mom' didn't like the cofee.

I tried to help 'Mom' set up her computer in the hotel room, but wound up getting all tangled in the cable. Oh well.

On our way back home, we went to Ruby Falls. I've never been in a cave before. I was very excited about this new experience.

Me waiting for my ticket to get in. This was a BIG chair!

I found this hat in the gift shop! It was so cute, I couldn't resist trying it on. They said I wouldn't need a hat in the cave, though, so I didn't get it.

Me and my souvenir ticket, waiting to board the elevator. I've never been in an elevator before.

Walking into the cave. 'Mom' lifted me up so I could touch the ceiling. It was dark and cold in the cave. But, I wasn't scared.

Me and one of the neat formations in the cave. This one was called the "Onyx Column".

There is a lot of water in the cave. People have to be very careful.

This is what we walked through the cave to see ... Ruby Falls. It was spectacular. Who knew such a beautiful waterfall could be found hundreds of feet below ground! I was happy to see it. I didn't like it when they turned the lights out, though.

I liked the colors in the cave ... they matched me!

Me and another one of the formations, this one was called "The Candle and the Cactus". The rocks were sooooo smooth.

It was good to sit down.

Waiting for the elevator. I was soooo tired. All that walking wears you out.

On the observation deck at Ruby Falls. You could see for a long, long way. It's located on top of Lookout Mountain.

I was in Nashville! What a nice city.

This was really neat - we stopped at the Parthenon! I never thought I would get to see something like that. It was really beautiful.

There's me on the steps of the Parthenon! What a beautiful building - and sooo big, too! I really liked the horse sculptures across the top. This was a great trip!
